What kinds of volunteering roles do you have?
From children’s sessions and family support to admin, events, creative projects, and quieter stewarding roles – there’s something for every personality.

How do I sign up to volunteer?
Just reach out for an initial chat with Ali, our volunteer coordinator. Ali will guide you through the simple steps and help you find the right role.

Do I need experience?
No. Just warmth, reliability, and a willingness to learn.

Do I need to be a Christian?
No – though some faith-leading roles require a Christian volunteer. We’ll place you where you feel comfortable.

Do I need a DBS?
Yes – we organise this for you.

Is there training?
Yes, and it’s friendly, supportive, and practical.

Can I volunteer with friends/family?
Absolutely. Many do!

What are the time commitments?
From weekly roles to occasional events – we’ll find a fit.

What if I’m nervous?
You’ll have a buddy, a team, and lots of support.

Are there quieter roles?
Absolutely – from hallway stewards to office work to outdoor safety and behind-the-scenes support, there are plenty of calm options if joyful noise is not your thing!
